The McKinney Ice Hockey Club (MIHC) is a leading high school hockey organization based in McKinney, Texas. Founded in 1996, MIHC operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, providing students from McKinney Independent School District with the opportunity to compete at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels.

The club is open to players zoned for McKinney ISD in both public and private schools, including Boyd High, McKinney High, McKinney North, and all five McKinney middle schools, fostering a strong community of hockey athletes.

Mission and Community

MIHC is dedicated to developing young hockey players in a supportive teaching environment, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The club is not officially sponsored by the McKinney ISD, but it is authorized to represent the school district’s colors and teams. MIHC prides itself on being one of the most successful and respected youth hockey programs in Texas, with a focus on player development and affordable participation opportunities for local athletes

• Eligibility: Open to students entering 7th grade or higher who meet age requirements and are zoned McKiney ISD.
