Pre-Tryout Mini-Camp 2025
Get ready, McKinney the MIHC 2026 Pre‑Tryout Camp is here! This is your player’s chance to shake off the rust, get in front of the coaching staff, and head into formal tryouts with confidence.
The MIHC Pre‑Tryout Camp is a high‑intensity, skills‑focused camp run by the McKinney Ice Hockey Club coaching staff. It’s designed specifically to prepare incoming and returning high school players for the 2026–27 season tryouts.
Players can expect:
• High‑tempo skill work (skating, puck control, passing, shooting)
• Small‑area games and compete drills
• Situational and systems work for high school hockey
• Live evaluation and feedback from MIHC coaches
Goalies will get tons of quality reps, shots, and game‑like situations to dial in their positioning and confidence.

• Times: 7:45PM - 9:00 PM (North Rink)

• Format: On‑ice only
