Varsity Gold

McKinney’s Varsity Gold squad battled through a balanced weekend, finishing 1-1-1. The team averaged 1.7 goals per game while maintaining a solid penalty kill rate of 86 percent. Although the power play has yet to convert this season, the group’s defensive structure kept them competitive in each matchup.

Goaltender Andrew Demma anchored the effort in net, turning away 64 of 70 shots faced. His 2.05 goals-against average and .914 save percentage were among the bright spots, keeping McKinney in tight contests.

Varsity Bronze
